CRKT Homefront (K270GKP)

The CRKT Homefront (K270GKP) might look like it’s a WW1 heirlooom, but it just won Most innovative Design in the 2016 Blade Show. The CRKT Homefront is the first from CRKT to feature “Field Strip” technology. This breakthrough technology, created by Ken Onion, allows you to disassemble the Homefront and reassemble it in two motions, making the process easy enough to do in 5 seconds without any additional tools.

To disassemble, simply flip the the release lever up while the Homefront is in the closed position. Then, rotate the back release wheel to loosen up the handles. From there you can just take the handles off the blade and clean them up. To reassamble, simply fit the pieces back together, turn the wheel, and flip the release lever down.
