Grohmann #2 Trout & Bird Micarta Carbon With Sheath (M2C)

The Grohmann #2 Trout & Bird is a smaller version of the #1 Award Model. Designed for dressing of small game, fishing, backpacking.

Lightweight, general purpose knife especially suited for the younger outdoors person, those with smaller hands or if you prefer a smaller handle.

This model features a carbon steel blade with a regular grind and a black micarta handle. Regular “sabre” grind blade comes up about halfway on the blade. Our regular classic grind makes for a thicker, stronger blade, and was designed ideally for hunting and skinning/dressing.

Micarta is commonly called the “steel of the plastic family” for its strength and durability and is similar to G-10. Composed of layers of linen soaked in resin, it is lightweight yet tough, has a slightly linen textured look but fairly smooth to the touch when finished.
